The Queer Talks
"The Queer Talks" E’ un progetto a lungo termine, in parte inedito. Nasce nel 2018 da un’idea di Clotilde Petrosino, fotografə e artista trans* . Lo scopo è quello di realizzarne una pubblicazione. Racconta storie di persone che fanno parte della comunità LGBTQIA+, che vivono in Italia, attraverso foto e interviste scritte. E’ stato esposto negli Stati Uniti e a Londra in mostre collettive. Alcune delle interviste sono realizzate da Clotilde. Altre sono state realizzate da Krizia Ribotta Giraudo ed Enea Venegoni.
"The Queer Talks" is a long-term project, partially unpublished. It was conceived in 2018 by Clotilde Petrosino, a photographer and trans* artist. The aim is to publish it. It tells the stories of people who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community living in Italy, through photos and written interviews. It has been exhibited in the United States and London in group exhibitions. Some of the interviews are conducted by Clotilde. Others have been conducted by Enea Venegoni and Bartolomeo Goffo.
The objective is to offer a narrative of LGBTQIA+ subjectivities that is free of stereotypes and prejudices. The LGBTQIA+ community is often depicted through a morbid, judgmental, aggressive, and disrespectful narrative, which only serves to fuel homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, and other forms of discrimination. The people participating in the project are involved in all stages and even decide what to wear.
Since 2021, the website www.thequeertalks.com has been online, serving as an independent platform where excerpts of the stories are shared. In a separate section, various topics of interest and usefulness to the LGBTQIA+ community are discussed. The website is self-financed and independent, so there is no censorship, and the editorial plan is entirely managed by Clotilde Petrosino with the collaboration of Enea Venegoni.

L’obiettivo è quello di proporre una narrazione delle soggettività LGBTQIA+ che sia priva di stereotipi e pregiudizi.
La comunità LGBTQIA+ viene raccontata con una narrazione morbosa, giudicante, aggressiva, irrispettosa delle soggettività raccontate. Ciò non fa altro che alimentare l'omobilesbotransafobia e le discriminazioni. Le persone che partecipano al progetto, sono coinvolte in tutte le fasi e decidono anche cosa indossare.
Dal 2021 è online il sito www.thequeertalks.com una piattaforma indipendente in cui sono condivisi estratti delle storie, e in una sezione a parte, vengono affrontati i temi più disparati, che possono essere di interesse e utilità per la comunità LGBTQ+. Il sito è autofinanziato e indipendente, quindi non ci sono censure, il piano editoriale è completamente gestito da Clotilde Petrosino con la collaborazione di Enea Venegoni.
